Fall is my favourite season for fashion. I love wearing sweaters, boots, jackets, coats, hat's and layering...so much room for creativity with personal style.
It is the time of fashion. Many shows to come including the big one's. The very first Vancouver Men's Fashion Week, Eco Fashion Week and, of course, Vancouver Fashion Week.
Busy months ahead and I just look forward to seeing the shows and the up and coming talent!
We have it here. I have already seen and met some of the most talented Canadian and Vancouver, for that matter, designers and their collections and all blew me away! I'm so happy that fashion is paramount in the city and the world.
It's a wonderful world, and to see the evolvement of fashion is inspiring.
Fashion is for EVERYONE. We all have our own personal style, or want to, if you will, look at magazines, check out shows on you tube. We all want to be current...may be some pressure for some. Who knows, but it makes me smile.
I hope many of you support our shows. We need the support to become the fashion city, I believe we have. It may not always be like what you see in Europe, or Japan, Finland, Denmark, etc... but we have our own West Coast style that proves we have it!
