REVIEWS: I infused my colour and I liked it!

I've been bleaching my hair white blonde for a good few years now.

I think its been since about 2004 when I went to art college and got the standard 'art cut' that so many first years do. While the cut is (thankfully) long gone, the color has always remained. I did take a break to be purple, ginger, brown, blue, etc over the years but I always return to white blonde.

The worst part about the bleaching? Besides the bleach itch?

The work it requires to keep it maintained.

I have to do my roots once a month or else it is immediately obvious, I need deep conditioning treatments frequently and then I use lightening shampoo.

I like to use a really intense purple shampoo a few times a week. I used to use one that was so strong it dyed my hair with this beautiful lavender hue and I responded by purposely not washing my hair properly so I could keep the silvery-lavendery-white-ish colour that it turned.

So I was keen to try this Infuse my colour shampoo.

It arrived a few weeks ago during one of the most hectic work schedules and I haven't had a chance before now to even consider blogging. I also like to use a product for a bit so I can speak from experience.

I am really happy with it. Not only is my hair incredibly white blonde at the minute but I love the smell of the product. I know that sounds a bit weird but one of the things I love about purple shampoo is the smell.

The best part? It's vegan! I have been slowly edging into the veganism for a while now. I describe myself as vegetarian but I eat predominately vegan. In fact, the only dairy I have is cheese more often then is healthy for me! So I'm curious about vegan products to see how they hold up next to the other products. I'm happy to say I prefer this. It felt softer on my hair then the other whitening product did.
I'm also happy to see they do other colors. I've been toying with the idea of dying my hair bright ginger again lately in time for Autumn but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm happy to see two ginger-ish tones in the line up. Also featured is a cobalt blue!

If you fancy trying the range then they are available at Boots £13.95
